About This Game Species: Artificial Life Real Evolution is an evolution simulator that allows you to create, destroy, observe and tinker with life on it's never ending, harsh march of refinement! Simulated from the very first principles of evolutionary science:Variation Every creature is uniquely defined by its genes.Mutation Child creatures are slightly randomly modified versions of their parent(s).Natural Selection The environment affects every creature in their struggle to survive.Observe or GuideWhether you just want to observe, watch and study as the tree of life constructs itself from a single species, or you want to be an active influence on the development of the species in the game, the choice is up to you! Take a hands-on approach by using the nursery, an isolated area where you can tinker with the gene pool to your heart’s content. Use rovers to decide which creatures get to eat today and which ones starve! Create global catastrophes like an ice-age or a world-spanning flood to weed out the most vulnerable species. Or simply sit back and watch the life-and-death saga unfold!Tell Your StoryHowever you treat your evolutionary sandbox, we give you the tools to tell it’s story! View every single evolutionary step in detail using the clade diagram, see where each species are living using the satellite map, get a better picture of how varied your gene pool actually is with the web of life, and view every possible detail on each creature using the creature inspection tools. 7aa9394dea Title: Species: Artificial Life, Real EvolutionGenre: Simulation, Early AccessDeveloper:QuasarPublisher:QuasarRelease Date: 28 Sep, 2018 Species: Artificial Life, Real Evolution Download Utorrent Xbox 360 species artificial life real evolution igg games. species artificial life real evolution controls. games like species artificial life real evolution. species artificial life real evolution an. species artificial life real evolution download free. species artificial life real evolution tutorial. species artificial life real evolution how to play. species artificial life real evolution release date. species artificial life real evolution guide. species artificial life real evolution system requirements. species artificial life real evolution apk. species artificial life real evolution tips. species artificial life real evolution repack. species artificial life real evolution fr. species artificial life real evolution. species artificial life real evolution rutor. species artificial life real evolution gameplay. species artificial life real evolution xbox one. species artificial life real evolution g2a. species artificial life real evolution review. species artificial life real evolution help. species artificial life real evolution reddit. species artificial life real evolution mac. species artificial life real evolution ep 1. species artificial life real evolution price. species artificial life real evolution for free. species artificial life real evolution mods. species artificial life real evolution steam key. species artificial life real evolution xbox. species artificial life real evolution steam. species artificial life real evolution download. species artificial life real evolution free. species artificial life real evolution pc game. species artificial life real evolution ps4. species artificial life real evolution ios. species artificial life real evolution demo. species artificial life real evolution wikipedia. species artificial life real evolution simulator. species artificial life real evolution wiki. species artificial life real evolution game. species artificial life real evolution igg. species artificial life real evolution deutsch. species artificial life real evolution cracked. species artificial life real evolution online. species artificial life real evolution torrent. species artificial life real evolution skidrow. species artificial life real evolution android. species artificial life real evolution human. species artificial life real evolution rus. species artificial life real evolution requirements. species artificial life real evolution torrent download. species artificial life real evolution nursery. species artificial life real evolution free download. species artificial life real evolution mega. species artificial life real evolution key making potatoes into more advanced potatoes i guess the devs are still working on it. Not so much a game as a simulator but if you like that this can be very amusing. So, I have had one map so far and.... Well.....When I started the game I picked out my starting potatoes to use in my nursery to engineer something that will eventually look like a real animal (aiming for a wolf). While this was happening I left the rest of the potato population to do its own thing. At one point a wild "fish" appeared, huge head, tiny body, large rear 'flipper' legs and some kind of weird beak. Eventually, all things bar the fish died, why I have no idea. For generations there were nothing but fish. Herbivore fish, carnivore fish, stripy fish, spotty fish, most of them pale fleshy coloured things. There were many species of fish, but all decended from the one fish that managed to get this winning set up. Eventually I got board of my land being empty, particularly since the carnivrious fish had died out by that point, so I encoraged the fish to expand their turf by upping my land fertility and dropping the water down one level. It worked. Eventually, for some reason, all of my fish moved onto land, non of them continued to bother with the remaining water. Once on land, my fish began to evolve. The bodies got longer, the heads got smaller, and the 'fins' changed from paddles or spikes, to bars or bulbious... things...... And thus is the story of how, thirty minuets ago I checked my game and realised that my land was covered in swarms of hundreds of peach coloured amusingly X-rated creatures muching on bushes where ever they went. Thanks, Quasar, for the good laugh!Alas, still working on that wolf, though. XD. This is a wonderful and very creative program. It is the best version of evolution that I have seen so far with the exception of the mechanics being complicated to operate. (see below).I really see that this could become a masterpiece of educational software. The possibilities that this holds is something special and it is well worth your time to get to know it.I do sincerely hope that the developer continues to run with this project as I think it has so many more possibilities yet to come.I have had no problems with FPS and the software runs well. The occasional bits of music are really nice and enhances the experience. The graphics are excellent and the development of the creatures is good also.I would love to be able to add my own mp3 music to the mix and be able to listen to that while I am playing. In terms of instructions, the game has some built in directives, (mostly difficult for me to read due to the size of the text). I would dearly like to have a more formal set of instructions in the manner of a manual that can direct my ability to participate in the development of the species. In particular I am in need of instruction of how I can control the evolution of the species. There is nothing that describes how to manipulate the genetics in detail.I recommend this software to anyone who is interested in this subject matter. It is interesting, relaxing and something that I do think could become an outstanding and profound device with a huge following if the developer would simplify the controls and make it easier to understand how to alter the genetics and actually make use of the process. It is currently TOO COMPLICATED to operate easily the genetic directives at this time.. the game will be very good on the stable version. A very unique and Indie game, one of it's kind on Steam or the internet itself perhaps. Here are the pros and cons:Pros: 1. It's very flexible in the way you can edit and interact with an ecosystem or completely let it handle itself over time2. You can watch a species evolve over time, and see it's destiny and how it will turn out to be, or watch its extinction3. The game educates you about biology and helps you understand how species survive and thrive and what they adapt to4. While Quasar is an Indie developer, this is their first game, and it is not even a final product nor a year old yet, which means many useful, cosmetic, and interesting features are yet to come Cons:1. Many people complain about crashes, and rightfully so. The developers are working quite hard to solve this issue, but as of this review, I personally still experience crashes even with a system that can handle high graphic games.2. The maximum set FPS is 60, even if you have a screen/computer that can handle well above this, or rather cannot, it is the flat set rate. 3. While you can edit creatures' appearances, not everyone (me included) care or like to edit species by species and influence a simulation, some like randomity and expect creatures to not completely look like worms.Final thoughts:Overall, I would give this game an 8 out of 10. As I stated before, it has a lot of potential, and you will not find any game like this on the internet. I look forward to it's future for sure.. the concept of the game is wonderful, and the artistic way they are handling the creatures of the game is really great. However, I kept having issues of the game randomly crashing on me, whenever I changed one of the settings. I will give the game a few months before buying it again.. I was excited to give this game a try, there are very few in this genre.Unfortunately, this isn't even remotely ready for early access, I wouldn't even call it "alpha".Constant crashes, missing content, and buggy game play are not unusual in early release games, but this game seems to make a major effort to be the worst possible. Not a single thing works properly. I tried to give the game a fair shot, and fought with it for too long to get a refund. (I applied for a refund, but was denied for "playtime over 2 hours") Steer clear of this title, there's literally nothing here, just a jumbled mess that will frustrate and annoy you.. I played the game back when it was still limited to downloads. I loved having my little Primum Speciums survive through a difficult life in the world, so naturally, I was hyped to see it coming to Steam. Problem was, it didn't funtion all that well. Even turning down the settings did nothing to help the slowdown my laptop suffered. If you have a stable enough computer, check it out. Otherwise, I suggest waiting until a more stable version comes out.. Definitely not worth the $17 bucks. Itself, it's an interesting game but its Early Alpha stage restricts the choice of tools quite obviously so that you're left with a rather tedious routine of watching creatures thrive and decease in a world where you can change, like, five or six variables overall until you eventually find yourself wondering "Why did I even buy this?". Also, the rover system is very WIP and doesn't even closely unwrap its true potential of causing genetic pressure.Tl;dr: A game with a lot of potential indeed... but it's just not worth the money now. Fins and Flippers Update now available on Steam!: It's here! Species: Artificial Life, Real Evolution 0.11.0: The Fins And Flippers Update. (everyone knows titles are better the longer they are)As you might guess from the name, the Fins and Flippers update introduces aquatic life to the world of species. With swim physics, aquatic biomes and a new respiratory system gene, we have prepared P. specium for the oncoming tide as best we could! Now to toss it in the ocean and watch it flail helplessly. Ah. So majestic. This is our first steam release, and it's been a fun journey getting here, but we're not done yet: not even close. This is only Early Access after all! I hope you'll join us as we continue to evolve! Cheers!Qu. 0.12.0.3 Experimental: Changelog:* Adjusted grazing to be more random and less biased towards travelling in a specific direction.* Fixed a bug preventing fins and flippers from increasing swim speed unless they touched the ground* Fixed a crash when exporting an engineered genome.* Fixed a crash when starting a game with a small world size* Fixed a crash that happened randomly in longer running games.. 0.12.0.10: Changelog:* Strapped the ArithmeticException bug (the most common cause of crashes in the game) to a table and attempted to bisect it with a laser. Gloated for a while, then left the room in the certain knowledge that escape was impossible and my victory was complete.* Increased the scale of limbs to make creatures in general a bit more interesting and... appendagery. That's a word now.. 0.11.1.1:11,111, Eleven, 1:1.1.: * Semi-complete 'Niches' Automatic Population Control option. The underlying system works correctly (as far as I can tell), but I'm not ready to make it the default until a few unrelated issues are sorted out and I can give it a proper test and make sure it does what it's supposed to.- If you try it out, try pressing 'H' to see the food source efficiency table. It's actually kinda cool to watch it adjust itself over time.* Significantly reduced meat build up during grazing to make carnivory less appealing overall. This is to reduce the number of overhunting-induced mass extinctions until carnivore AI can be made smarter. - In particular, this should make Mass Extinction events easier to avoid for folk with low population caps.* Added blue lines between the selected creature(s) and their chosen target(s). (Should have done this ages ago. Makes it so much easier to see what the little creeps are up to)* Gently tied "scanning" speed when making a decision to eyesight. (Better eyes = faster decisions)* Set default fertility variation to 1.0 to add a bit more biome variety to default maps* Fixed a bug causing creatures with gills to run for the origin point (top left on the map) instead of downhill towards water when air-drowning.* Fixed a separate bug causing creatures with lungs not to swim upwards for oxygen when drowning.* Fixed a crash when generating repeat worlds with "Initialise Aquatic" or "Initialise Predator and Prey"* Fixed fossils not showing when hovered over in the clade diagram* Fixed tooltip display issue the first time you hover over fertility buttons* Re-compiled Linux binary for compatibility with earlier Ubuntu releases (14.04). Looking ahead: carnivory, habitability, niches and cross-platform support: I’m hard at work implementing cross platform support for 0.11.1, with the assistance of a few volunteers (thank you to Jared, Kristen and Ewery!). We have a very promising Linux build that works on our test system, and I’m working on getting the Mac build going! In the meantime, I’ve also been doing some optimization and polish work. The next version, whether it’s 0.11.1 and includes cross platform support or 0.11.0.17 and doesn’t, should run faster and have fewer rough edges all ’round. Lookin’ at you, nursery water fog.I’ve also had time to pay a bit of attention to the longer term balance and survival strategy game as it currently stands, and they’re fun to discuss even if I haven’t started work on them. So... further thoughts over here on the blog:https://speciesdevblog.wordpress.com/2018/10/18/carnivory-habitability-niches-and-cross-platform-support/Cheers,Qu. 0.11.2.2: * Fixed a common crash that happened when recording a new species to the clade diagram in long-running simulations.* Fixed a crash that happened when importing creatures, if doing so would exceed the creature cap.* Fixed a crash that happened if an underwater grazer tried to graze from pixels outside the map borders* Fixed a crash that happened when starting a game with significantly increased forest density* Fixed an issue creating an invisible cap limiting forest density to around 3. Forest density is now unbounded. (Cue people melting their computers with stupidly high forest densities)* Fixed an issue allowing UI spinners to exceed their maximum and minimum values* Fixed an issue causing "Initialise Random" to generate 25% more creatures.. 0.11.2.1 - Forest Stability Buff: Sometimes the smallest of changes can have the largest effects. Case in point, this patch dramatically increases the stability, longevity and food production of forests simply by preventing herbivores from grazing the biome out from under trees. (which was killing the trees and destroying the forests. Aww, they think they're people).* Creatures can no longer graze from a ground pixel if there's a tree on it.* Trees can no longer spawn on ground pixels which are already occupied by other trees.* Fixed Nurse bots escaping the nursery and running away. (Why does everything in this game try to escape the inescapable? Wait, better question: why do they keep succeeding?)* Climate device effect radius increased
